‘Game, set, match’: High court decision hailed as historic victory for same-sex marriage as Bishop and Baldwin head down the aisle

On Monday afternoon, Mary Bishop and Sharon Baldwin were issued a marriage license in Oklahoma, following on the heels of the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision Monday not to hear states’ appeals of seven cases in which laws banning same sex-marriage were struck down by federal courts.
